About the role

AWS Solutions Architect role focused on Automotive & Manufacturing, responsible for designing and migrating cloud-based solutions for large enterprise customers, communicating business value, and guiding adoption of AWS services. Open to travel up to 25% domestically with some international travel.

Responsibilities

  • As a trusted customer advocate, the Global Solutions Architect develops the technology strategy for one of our largest global enterprise customers in a complex and multi-faceted environment.
  • Interface with senior executive leaders and cloud architects to build relationships and enable them as cloud advocates.
  • Help the customer design advanced cloud-based solutions, implement leading-edge technologies, adopt cloud best-practice designs, and migrate existing enterprise workloads to the cloud.
  • Partner with various AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems, build mindshare, and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
  • In collaboration with the sales team, drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth across a wide portfolio of technologies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to connect technologies to measurable business value and articulate technical solutions to business challenges.
  • Capture and share best practices with peers, generate internal/external technical content, and participate in hiring activities to grow the SA community.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
