About the role
Network Engineer to support corporate infrastructure deployment for Amazon offices, collaborating with multiple teams to turn up and maintain network services across global corporate offices. Remote execution with onsite presence in Cebu, Philippines; includes formal training opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement configuration changes on the network, during scheduled change management windows.
- Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configurations.
- Collaborate with our partners within Amazon like AWS Networking, IT Services, Technical Program Managers and Low Voltage Contractors (LVC’s) to deploy changes.
- Create and review documentation and process regarding network implementation/deployments, recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
Qualifications
- BS/BE/BTech in Information Systems, Computer Science or other Engineering disciplines or similar relevant educational background.
- 3+ years of enterprise experience as a technician or engineer; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
