About the role

Maintenance Manager at Amazon leading maintenance operations across a site, overseeing Area Maintenance Managers and their teams, developing strategic maintenance programs, and driving operational excellence with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, and cross-site collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide leadership and mentorship to Area Maintenance Managers and their teams of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance
  • You will develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage department budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • You will ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all operational sites while partnering with site Safety leadership to implement and audit safety programs
  • You will manage capital spending plans, facilitate cross-functional project planning, perform cost analysis, and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards
  • You will travel domestically up to 15% to support network-level initiatives and provide guidance across multiple sites

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
  • 4+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 4+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, technology, business, leadership or 10+ years of maintenance-related military service (E-6, E-7, E-8, E-9, O-1/W-1, O-2/W-2, O-3/W-3)
