About the role

Contractual role in Amazon's HR organization supporting the Appeals journey for Amazon employees and alumni. Focus on handling confidential information, policy adherence, and process improvement within a fast-paced appeals environment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your deep diving skills and Amazon policy expertise to identify required documentation for appeal cases.
  • Assess documentation for accuracy and past precedent.
  • Identify any process defects and recommended remediation.
  • Review information which contributed to the disciplinary action impacting the employee. Use your investigative skills to determine if policy was applied properly and consistently based on evidence and employee/witness statements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of human resources experience
  • Experience with HR processes and systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency handling customer contacts, queries and resolutions.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
  • Comfort with high volume workloads, experience with rapid and complex changing work environment, willingness to "roll up your sleeves"
