About the role

Senior technical infrastructure program management role focused on delivering data center capacity for AWS cloud infrastructure in Hyderabad, India. Leads cross-functional teams across planning, finance, procurement, legal, policy, operations, construction, commissioning, controls, fiber and network to deliver on-time, right-sized DC capacity at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Senior Infrastructure TPM owns delivery of new DC across one or more availability zones in Hyderabad, Telangana India.
  • The Sr TIPM manages delivery of ~5 projects at any time.
  • Bridge internal customers, business functions, and delivery teams to enable on-time and right-sized delivery of new DC capacity.
  • Guide and develop partner teams to accomplish regional goals.
  • Begin with expansion planning including feasibility analysis to approve expansion plans and build timelines.
  • Evaluate owned/leased/collocated DC supply, utility delivery (power, water, fiber), and long lead equipment availability.
  • Monitor in-flight projects, major risks, and remediation efforts to ensure DC delivery meets supply commitments and customer demand.
  • Manage a combination of metrics, tools, and mechanisms to identify risks, drive decisions, and coordinate remediation across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience
  • Master's degree in a related technical field
  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
  • Experience in construction of data center delivery (design, commissioning and construction), mission critical facilities, or equivalent industrial/manufacturing facility builds
