About the role

Engineer to design, develop, and operate large-scale cloud infrastructure for US Government/Intelligence Community workloads within AWS. Focus on air-gapped environments, cross-partition automation, and building scalable, reliable services for AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative cloud computing solutions for US government agencies
  • Operate services at scale in air-gapped environments
  • Drive cross-partition deployment parity
  • Build automation to keep sensitive workloads shipping safely
  • Dive deep into complex distributed systems issues and improve builder experience
  • Review deployment health across isolated regions and participate in code reviews and design discussions
  • Troubleshoot deployment pipelines and implement fixes end-to-end

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
  • 4+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
