About the role

Software Development Engineer to lead development of mission-critical migration initiatives, design and implement end-to-end migration solutions for large codebases and services, collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, and drive multi-year programs within the Navigator team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end migration solutions for large, complex codebases and services, including technical planning, architecture decisions, and execution strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand migration requirements, identify technical risks, and develop mitigation strategies before they become blockers
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical excellence.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of building production software experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
