About the role

AI Sales Specialist role within AWS Public Sector ANZ, combining technical AI knowledge with a customer-centric, outcome-focused approach to help governments in Australia and New Zealand adopt AI responsibly and at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own a defined territory within the ANZ business, taking direct responsibility for a set of customers, pipeline and outcomes.
  • Set the strategy for your territory, determining where AI will deliver the greatest value for government
  • Advise customers on Responsible AI, model choice and commercial considerations (Tokenomics)
  • Design and propose solutions to Public Sector customers which considers their unique needs
  • Work closely with Account Managers, specialists, solutions architecture, professional services and partners to drive coordinated outcomes for your public sector customers.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 7+ years of technology sales experience
  • Familiarity of frontier models. Using and managing them in production or research settings
  • Experience with explaining complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
  • Experience with developing, progressing, and closing commercial opportunities
