About the role

Area Manager responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises while aligning with customer expectations across Amazon’s WW Operations network.

Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures; outdoor loading departments included
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (sites with stairs)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Currently hold a valid and active USA state driver's license?
