About the role

Senior PCB Layout Engineer role for Amazon Leo (low Earth orbit satellite network). Responsible for definition and implementation of spacecraft subsystems, contributing across all PCB design and production phases, and collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the definition and implementation of multiple spacecraft subsystems.
  • Contribute in all phases of PCB design and production. You must bring a combination of PCB design, fabrication, assembly, and test knowledge to a highly collaborative cross team functional team.
  • Work with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to ensure the design meets all requirements from an electrical performance and mechanical enclosure perspective.
  • Create all documentation packages required to fabricate and assemble the PCB/PCBA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years experience of PCB layout design using industry standard PCB design suites.
  • 5+ years experience with high speed circuits.
  • 5+ years experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
