About the role

Senior Program Manager for the Amazon Global Engineering Services Launch Team responsible for leading strategic, large-scale launches and cross-functional program management to drive operational efficiency and customer-centric outcomes. Requires extensive travel (up to 75%) and ability to manage multiple complex projects across programs.

Responsibilities

  • Gain trust and consistently deliver results
  • Think Big and develop new ideas, while applying high standards to weed out least valuable
  • Work backwards from the customer to scope and define program requirements and milestones
  • Autonomously lead new or ambiguous initiatives and create scalable solutions in a dynamic landscape
  • Demonstrate ownership to drive time-sensitive actions across multiple business groups
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining customer focus
  • Own an entire site type program and/or oversee launches of multiple sites, driving program-level projects
  • Optimize cross-team processes to improve team efficacy and delivery
  • Make high-level decisions considering risks and future outcomes
  • Dive into details with high judgment and gut instinct
  • Develop new programs and create roadmaps; lead high-profile meetings to align requirements and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
