About the role

Senior software development engineer working on customer-facing experience for Amazon Promotions within the Deals & Promotions team, responsible for design, implementation, and deployment of features and services for a scalable, high-visibility promotions platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, implementation, and deployment of features and services that shape the Amazon Promotions experience.
  • Be a key contributor to critical projects on the Deals & Promotions team.
  • Tackle ambiguity and build high-quality, robust software at massive scale.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
