About the role

Leads end-to-end bid and contracting lifecycle across federal, state, and local government markets for Amazon Business. Owns process from opportunity identification through RFP response, contract negotiation, and execution; champions automation and AI to improve proposals and compliance at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end response process for commercial and public-sector RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. Interpret solicitation requirements, opportunity shaping, lead bid/no-bid decisions with Sales, and manage proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and submissions.
  • Coordinate Pricing, Finance, Legal, Product, and SMEs to deliver accurate, competitive, on-time responses.
  • Lead public-sector contract reviews and negotiations
  • Identify risks and deviations, partner with Legal and Finance to resolve them, and manage amendments, renewals, and lifecycle records.
  • Manage federal, state and local bids and contracts; apply working knowledge of the FAR and state/local frameworks; and ensure mandatory clauses, certifications, and representations are met.
  • Champion tools and automation across the bid-to-contract lifecycle, build reusable content and clause libraries, and establish quality controls for AI-generated outputs.
  • Serve as the primary operational owner of assigned opportunities from bid initiation through execution, partnering across functions and advising on contractual risk and procurement requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in proposal management, contract management, capture, or bid management
  • Experience with public-sector (federal, state, and/or local) solicitations
  • Working knowledge of the FAR and/or state/local procurement frameworks, including mandatory clauses, certifications, and representations
