About the role

Lead a frontline team and own a shift at the Stockton, CA site, driving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer delivery across Amazon's three main workflows (First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile). Hands-on leadership with a focus on people management, process improvement, and data-driven decision making in a high-volume operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • - Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
  • - Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • - Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • - Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • - Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • - Work in an environment with variable noise and temperatures (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
  • - Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Qualifications

  • - 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • - A Bachelor's degree or International Equivalent, OR 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience, OR 6+ years of Military Experience
