About the role
IT Support Engineer I providing technical solutions and high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geographical area, with a focus on troubleshooting and implementing IT infrastructure solutions within Amazon Operations.
Responsibilities
- Use knowledge and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software across sites in a defined geographical area.
- Troubleshoot and solve straightforward problems that do not have defined SOPs.
- Take ownership for IT infrastructure projects or initiatives in support of Amazon Operations facilities and services.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience
- 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience
- 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience
- 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
- 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP) experience
- 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
- 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
