About the role
Finance Manager to support Global Procurement Organization (GPO) Finance, overseeing $6B of spend, driving negotiations, cost savings, and data-driven insights to influence vendor selection and contract terms. Focus on long-term impact, expanding spend categories, and mentoring analysts.
Responsibilities
- Challenge business partner assumptions during negotiations and RFPs to strengthen vendor terms
- Design and execute complex financial analyses to deliver negotiation leverage
- Lead strategic business reviews with senior leaders and align on procurement strategies
- Solve complex problems independently and balance short-term and long-term needs
- Drive large-scale process improvements and identify automation opportunities
- Identify additional spend categories for long-term procurement impact
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to Finance community initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business
- Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects with measurable results
- Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets for decision-making
- 5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
- 5+ years dissecting financial data to support business strategy
