About the role

Delivery Consultant role within AWS ProServe focusing on large-scale migration and modernization programmes, including data centre exits across multiple countries, guiding customers from discovery through migration execution while adhering to AWS Well-Architected principles.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Qualifications

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • 10+ years of cloud architecture, solution implementation or consulting experience, with a focus on large-scale cloud migration and modernization programmes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or a related field
  • Experience leading the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical enterprise IT and migration programmes, including data centre exits, in a customer-facing role
  • Experience as the technical lead of large-scale migrations: defining the migration strategy and target architecture, choosing the right approach for each workload, and translating these technical choices into business outcomes for executive audiences
  • Experience using AI-powered and agentic migration and modernization tools (e.g., AWS Transform, ModelizeIT, Kiro or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with technology infrastructure: network, compute, storage and virtualization
  • Experience with wave planning, including dependency grouping, capacity balancing and multi-geography coordination under regulatory constraints
  • Experience leading large teams and matrix organizations, and driving alignment across business and technology stakeholders
  • Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methods
