About the role

TOC (Transportation Operation Center) anchors Transportation Execution across the Amazon Supply Chain, coordinating inbound/outbound freight flows, resolving exceptions, and driving process improvements through data analysis to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers)
  • Pull data from databases (Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting/analysis
  • Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results
  • Scope business/functional requirements for Amazon technology teams
  • Understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Escalate problems/variances to owners and follow through on resolutions
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring activities
  • Create narratives of weekly findings and variances and present in review forums
  • Provide real-time customer experience support in a 24x7 operating environment

Qualifications

  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives and cross-functional teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL
  • Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions
  • 10+ years experience or an equivalent degree (as per the phrasing in Basic Qualifications)
