About the role

Experienced Solutions Architect focused on Capital Markets within UK Financial Services, partnering with customers to design and implement secure, scalable AWS-based solutions and influence product direction.

Responsibilities

  • - Own the technical relationship with the customer and operate as their trusted advisor.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture design and reviews, and workshops across trading, risk, post-trade, market data, asset and wealth management domains to drive business value
  • - Design scalable and secure solutions leveraging AWS services and emerging technologies (AI/ML, HPC)
  • - Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute customer engagement strategies
  • - Create technical content and reference architectures for capital markets use cases
  • - Influence AWS product roadmap based on customer needs

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
  • - Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • - Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • - Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
