About the role

Trans Ops Representative at TOC facilitates flow of information between stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses) and resolves issues impacting customer experience and business continuity. Works across Inbound and Outbound operations to ensure timely pickup, delivery, and alignment with customer promises.

Responsibilities

  • Communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers)
  • Ability to pull data from numerous databases (Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Develop and/or understand performance metrics to drive business results
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams
  • Quickly understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Escalate problems or variance to relevant owners and follow through on resolutions
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring activities
  • Create narrative of weekly findings and variances to goals and present in reviews
  • Providing real-time customer experience in a 24x7 operating environment

  • Experience with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
