About the role

Solutions Architect role focused on DoD engagements within AWS WWPS DoW, supporting US Air Force and other Department of War customers. Responsible for technical engagement, architectural design, and leveraging AWS services and AI technologies to deliver cloud-based solutions, POCs, and best-practice knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; define implementation architectures; develop deep expertise in AWS technologies; be a subject matter expert on security and related technologies as they apply to customer applications and services.
  • Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
  • Collaborate with customers and ecosystem partners to build broad use of AWS (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, EC2, Lambda) and deliver POCs in customer environments.
  • Leverage generative AI to solve customer challenges and accelerate delivery and quality.
  • Engage in executive-level and technical discussions, train and educate teams, and stay current with industry trends.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
