About the role

Applied Scientist to join the Prime Video Sports personalization team in Israel, developing state-of-the-art algorithms for personalized live sports content recommendations, information retrieval, and real-time model optimization using large-scale systems and modern ML techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and deploy algorithms into production pipelines for personalization, information retrieval, and recommender systems.
  • Work on end-to-end solutions with state-of-the-art technologies in recommender systems and search.
  • Tackle challenges such as temporal information retrieval to improve real-time sports content recommendations.
  • Drive publication of original work in top-tier ML and Recommender Systems venues.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
  • Experience in building models for business applications
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
  • Patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals (preferred)
  • PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (preferred)
