About the role

Software development leadership role focused on Amazon Health (AHS) storefronts, delivering scalable services globally. Requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and business judgment to shape direction, partner with product management and senior leaders, and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition, development, and delivery of multi-tier web services for Amazon Health / AHS Storefront.
  • Build, scale, and shape the direction of the business of Health AI initiatives.
  • Partner with product management and senior leaders to ensure program success.
  • Provide thought leadership in a fast-paced development environment and manage services that can be deployed globally.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • 7+ years of engineering experience
  • 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
