About the role

Interim Process Assistant responsible for daily department management, safety, quality, productivity, and process adherence within a fulfillment department on shift, with ownership of department performance and hands-on operational duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Daily department management — allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Guiding, coaching, and supporting associates to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
  • Owning the execution of Standard Work routines within the department
  • Policy follow-up and attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)
  • Tracking and reporting ATS/labor hours and associate performance
  • Training associates and verifying SOP compliance
  • Leading the team to maintain 5S standards
  • Identifying and addressing safety hazards and participating in safety initiatives
  • Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Filling in with production duties as needed
  • Ensuring employee productivity is maximized and customer expectations are met

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work 10 hour shifts as needed
  • Experience with Amazon (blue badge/FTE)
