About the role

Join the Worldwide Returns and ReCommerce team (WWR&R) at Amazon to design, develop, document and support massively scalable, distributed real-time systems. Focus on zero-defect, zero-cost returns and zero product waste initiatives through innovative software engineering and data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Develop, document and support massively scalable, distributed real-time systems using C++, Java, OO design patterns and distributed databases
  • Drive best practices, mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvements in engineering excellence
