About the role

Senior ML engineer on the Foundational AI (FAI) team focused on building GenAI technology with Large Language Models, leveraging RL Gyms and applied research to advance state-of-the-art LLMs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of RL Gyms, assess their usefulness for frontier model advancement and build techniques to advance the state of the art with LLMs.
  • Support the foundational model development in an applied research role.
  • Leverage heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in LLMs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
