About the role

Area Manager leading a team of hourly employees at a Grocery Fulfillment Center, focused on safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring timely customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your team
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as climb stairs
  • Work in environments with varying noise, temperatures, and weather (outside loading areas; refrigerated environments in grocery locations)
  • Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
