About the role

Attorney position supporting AWS product development teams, focusing on AWS AI products and services, with exposure to privacy, public policy, marketing, and go-to-market stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies;
  • Advising on regulatory issues (including privacy-related issues);
  • Overseeing compliance, negotiating strategic technology agreements and providing input on business strategy;
  • Developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways;
  • Helping build processes that address risk and allow the business to innovate and scale quickly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of post bar admission legal experience
  • Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
