About the role

Lead and drive strategic PCB fabrication initiatives for Leo, Amazon’s satellite constellation program, with a focus on scaling supply chain, design-for-manufacturability, and cross-functional alignment to enable mass production of PCBA for thousands of satellites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive PCB fabrication initiatives from concept to mass production
  • Conduct comprehensive DFM assessments and provide technical recommendations for design improvements
  • Drive technical alignment between design teams, manufacturing partners, and quality engineering to optimize PCBA fabrication
  • Partner with systems engineering and hardware teams to influence PCB design decisions that impact supply chain resilience
  • Lead cross-functional programs to qualify new PCB technologies and fabrication processes
  • Drive PCB fabrication strategy alignment with business objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Industrial/ Electrical) or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in PCB supply chain, fabrication, or engineering
  • Experience in PCB fabrication processes and equipment
  • Experience leading DfX reviews for manufacturability, testability, quality, and reliability
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience performing Design and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses
  • Ability to lead small teams in root-causing technical product manufacturability and process problems and drive implementation of solutions
