About the role

Technical Program Manager on the Flight Software Team for Amazon Leo, responsible for driving the execution, implementation, development, and testing of Leo software and tooling, interfacing with cross-functional engineering and program management teams, and improving automation and operational excellence for a large-scale satellite deployment program.

Responsibilities

  • Own driving the execution, implementation, development, and test of Amazon Leo SW and tooling built to support it.
  • Interface with cross-functional engineering and program management teams to build the software and test infrastructure.
  • Drive automation and operational excellence—identifying areas of improvement and initiating changes to improve the productivity of the fleet.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical program management or related experience
  • Strong technical background with ability to understand complex software systems
  • Deep understanding of SDLC and release management practices
  • Proven track record managing programs across multiple teams and dependencies
  • Experience with distributed systems or large-scale deployments
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and execution skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or similar development methodologies
  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
