About the role

AWS seeks a Customer Solutions Manager to drive cloud transformation for global financial services clients, focusing on insurance with GenAI, data analytics, and cloud-native architectures. The role is a senior, customer-facing leadership position that champions adoption, strategy, and value realization across complex, multinational organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Cloud Adoption & Transformation: Define cloud migration and digital transformation strategy aligned to the customer's cloud business case, guiding changes in people, process, and operating models.
  • AI/ML & GenAI Enablement: Identify and prioritize high-impact GenAI and AI/ML use cases; explore Bedrock, LLMs, RAG architectures, and modern data services to solve insurance challenges; drive SDLC transformation with AI and enable end-to-end workflows.
  • People & Operating Model Change: Lead organizational changes to enable AWS adoption; establish education strategies to upskill technical and non-technical roles.
  • Migration & Modernization: Accelerate migrations and broader AWS adoption at scale; partner to mature Cloud Business Office capabilities.
  • Governance & Executive Engagement: Establish Cloud Leadership and governance structures; earn trust across all levels.
  • Value Realization: Create and manage outcome-driven adoption plans; track maturity, adoption progress, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Thought Leadership: Share success mechanisms, mentor junior CSMs, influence cloud adoption trends in financial services.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with proven thought leadership, business case development, and successful delivery.
  • 3+ years of customer-facing work engaging with executives, technologists, or partners to solve problems with advanced technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation project teams.
