About the role

Software Development Engineer to lead an innovative program measuring customer experience and product performance using ML and computer vision. Design, develop, test, and deploy systems for measuring CX; mentor juniors; influence strategy and roadmap; expand automation with AWS IoT and GenAI; leverage AI and quantitative analysis to drive insights.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design, development, and maintenance of systems, ensuring they meet Amazon’s growing scale.
  • Work with technical stakeholders from across the company to solve big problems, align on technical direction, and make sure our systems continue to meet their evolving needs.
  • Grow the junior developers on the team and set a high bar for engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
