About the role

Operations Manager leading and developing a team of salaried and hourly talent to ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance while driving productivity and customer delivery within Amazon’s Fulfillment Center Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your leadership across different levels
  • Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
  • Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Oversee performance across your department, ensuring team has tools/resources to achieve goals
  • Partner with site leadership, regional stakeholders, and support teams to remove obstacles, influence decisions, and deliver results at scale

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
