About the role

Delivery Consultant role within AWS Professional Services (ProServe) focused on designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions for customers, guiding migration strategies, and mentoring within the organization. Includes UK-specific eligibility and government security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
  • Experience with QA, testing, helpdesk, IT support, or any technician or quality assurance type work
  • Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows)
