About the role

12-month fixed-term role focused on end-to-end sourcing for EU/MENA fleet categories (branded OEM and variable rental) to support Amazon's last mile operations across Europe, Middle East, and North Africa. Responsibilities include identifying supply options, negotiating terms, onboarding suppliers, OEM engagement for MENA, and expanding the Fleet Exchange Marketplace supplier base.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end sourcing for assigned EU/MENA fleet categories, from identifying supply options to negotiating terms and securing committed capacity across both branded and variable (rental) last mile fleet.
  • Lead OEM engagement for the MENA region, preparing commercial cases and running supplier discussions to secure vehicle capacity for Amazon last mile operations.
  • Grow the rental supplier portfolio through the Fleet Exchange Marketplace by sourcing new leads and onboarding suppliers onto the platform across EU, with a focus on Italy, Spain, and France.
  • Build data-backed sourcing models and analysis to support recommendations to senior leaders, and influence internal stakeholders to secure alignment on sourcing decisions.
  • Develop and improve sourcing processes and standards that can scale across markets, mentoring team members and sharing best practices as the programme expands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain or related field
  • Experience handling multiple competing priorities and complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
  • Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • AI fluency — comfortable using AI tools to accelerate analysis, research, and day-to-day workflows, with the judgment to apply them effectively to sourcing problems.
