About the role

Operations Manager role within Amazon Logistics (AMZL) focused on leading and developing teams to drive safety, quality, and productivity across a site, delivering operational excellence and supporting day-to-day site performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
  • Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance
  • Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
  • Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
  • Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree
  • Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and upper intermediate proficiency in the local language
