About the role

Inbound Area Manager for Fulfillment Centers focused on safety, quality, customer experience, and warehouse productivity. Responsible for directing employee performance, leveraging performance metrics and process improvement, and ensuring OSHA safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct management experience for employees and their performance
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who)
  • Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet building objectives
  • Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring balanced and efficient shift while meeting goals
  • Support safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
