About the role

Senior Finance Analyst supporting the Alexa for Shopping business, partnering with Shopping Finance to develop financial models, provide analytical insights, and manage operating expenses related to conversational AI products.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and manage quantitative data to create meaningful analyses and build financial models that drive business decisions.
  • Create, improve, and maintain reports for key financial and operational metrics.
  • Analyze monthly financial and business metrics, report on key trends vs. plan, peel back the layers to understand underlying drivers of financial performance.
  • Perform month-end close related activities.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc operating expense reports for the business
  • Partner with business teams to enable success in the annual Goals process.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, including implementation of best practices, and collaborate with other teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field
  • 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
  • 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
