About the role

Senior Product Manager – Technical (PMT) to define product requirements and lead roadmap planning with NTN Handset OEMs for Amazon Leo’s satellite-enabled device ecosystem, coordinating across RAN, Core, and 5G handset interfaces to enable seamless satellite-terrestrial connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive User-Equipment (UE) feature alignment with 5G Handset vendors to ensure interoperability with Amazon Leo RAN, Core, Transport, and cloud infrastructure, including roaming between satellite and terrestrial networks.
  • Own the NTN Handset product roadmap, UE Compliance, and device technical acceptance (TA) execution plan, delivering NTN Handset across multiple workstreams with high standards and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Amazon Leo engineering teams, PIT and telco partners to define, build and test 3GPP-compliant protocol layers ensuring deterministic behavior, low latency, and high reliability for satellite connectivity and TN-NTN mobility.
  • Stay current with 3GPP releases, industry trends, and NTN deployment models to guide long-term product strategy.
  • Write and present technical documents (6-pagers, PR/FAQs, BRDs, PRDs) to senior leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with hardware, software, systems, operations, and program management teams across Amazon Leo.
  • Demonstrate systems thinking, ownership, and ability to operate in ambiguity while delivering large-scale technology products and leading complex initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to VPs, author operation plans, and communicate with the broader Amazon Leo team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management
