About the role

WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) Manager leading the Global WHS Program implementation, blending hands-on safety management with strategic initiatives to protect associates, drive safety culture, and enable operational excellence in a site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our Global WHS Program implementation and serve as the site's safety champion.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement practical solutions to protect associates while supporting productivity.
  • Lead safety compliance efforts, conduct site audits, and analyze incident trends to drive improvements.
  • Manage the first aid program and emergency response capabilities at the site.
  • Use data analytics to transform safety data into actionable insights and engage associates in safety initiatives.
  • Develop leadership plans, communicate expectations, and drive safety initiatives to create a safe work environment.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into all aspects of the business and oversee WHS training programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience
