About the role

Role within Amazon Shipping Spain, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, designing tailored commercial proposals, negotiating non-standard agreements, and managing P&L impact of deals.

Responsibilities

  • Business development: Proactively hunt for new customers — self-prospect, identify targets, and bring them to Amazon Shipping. Acquire new package volume, ensure strong conversion rates, and do it all with profitability in mind.
  • Customer relationship management: Establish and maintain top-level relationships with potential strategic customers who don't know Amazon Shipping yet.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Operations, Product, and Tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits customer needs. This includes listening to customers, building new proposals, and influencing stakeholder teams.
  • Dive deep: Measure performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and lead the wider team to address them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
  • Experience setting up and managing a sales pipeline
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • Experience structuring and negotiating non-standard commercial agreements.
