About the role

Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end experience across core buying surfaces for Amazon Business, shaping AI-native procurement experiences. Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Research, and Conversational Design; role focused on design direction, strategic decision-making, and raising craft standards across the team.

Responsibilities

  • - Lead the design of business specific features on top of Amazon.com store capabilities, from framing to detailed design and launch, contributing to define the strategy.
  • - Partner with Product and Engineering to shape requirements, make high-judgment trade-offs, and ensure designs account for system constraints, edge cases, and scale.
  • - Synthesize conflicting information from customer anecdotes, heuristics, user tests, surveys, experiments data and product analytics into a perspective, and use it to inform product roadmaps and org-level design strategy.
  • - Present and defend design recommendations in stakeholder reviews, building consensus among partners who may be diverging.
  • - Measure the impact of what you ship through product, CX metrics and customer anecdotes, and feed learnings back into the roadmap.
  • - Define and refine interaction patterns, standards, ways of working and mechanisms, and drive their adoption across teams to reduce duplication and increase delivery speed.
  • - Contribute to the definition of new ways of working with AI, and be up to date on new standards and paradigms.
  • - Actively mentor and critique with other designers, helping raise the craft bar across the team.
  • - A day in the life: balance customer understanding with hands-on craft, align with PM/tech lead, deep design work, review research data, coordinate with partner UX teams, present concepts in reviews, unblock engineering, work with design systems, coach teammates.

Qualifications

  • - Experience in design
  • - Have an available online portfolio
  • - Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
