About the role

WHS Manager to lead Amazon’s Global WHS Program implementation, combining hands-on safety management with strategic initiatives to protect associates and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety compliance efforts, conduct site audits, and analyze incident trends to target improvements.
  • Manage our first aid program and emergency response capabilities, ensuring immediate care is available.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze safety data to implement practical solutions that protect associates while supporting productivity.
  • Lead safety leadership and innovation to transform safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into business processes and train WHS staff and programs.
  • Develop leadership plans, communicate expectations, and drive initiatives to create a safe work environment.
  • Measure performance against WHS policies, analyze metrics, and address non-compliance issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience
