About the role

WHS Manager leading the Global WHS Program implementation at Amazon sites, driving safety culture, risk assessment, incident analysis, and emergency readiness while partnering with Operations leadership to balance safety with productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety compliance efforts, conduct site audits, and analyze incident trends to target improvements.
  • Manage first aid program and emergency response capabilities at the site.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze safety data to implement practical solutions.
  • Drive safety initiatives in collaboration with Operations leadership and influence safety culture.
  • Develop leadership plans, communicate expectations, and drive initiatives to create a safe work environment.
  • Measure performance against WHS policies, analyze metrics, and address non-compliance issues.
  • Oversee recordkeeping, WHS training programs, and workplace organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience
