About the role
Technical professional sought to join AWS Data Center Operations (DCO) to maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and hardware in AWS data centers. Primary resolver for the support team, performing hardware/software troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with solution groups for complex problems while ensuring 24/7 data center availability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
- Troubleshoot events within internal SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment within regulatory weight limits
- Work rotating shifts (morning/late/night) and weekends to maintain 24/7 data center operations
- On-call rotation to respond to off-duty emergency calls
- Ensure safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in networking
