About the role

AWS seeks a Data Center Security Manager to oversee on-site physical security for EMEA Non-Traditional Environments data centers, based in Lisbon, Portugal, covering multiple sites across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate site incidents and provide detailed reports
  • Analyze situations, make quick decisions and formulate action plans
  • Compile concise and accurate security reports
  • Create and manage key performance metrics
  • Work with security service providers. Manage a third party security vendor contract.
  • Train others in security procedures
  • Travel is a business need and is typically in the range of 25-40%.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of security operations and at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001
  • Working knowledge of video surveillance equipment
  • Experienced training others in security procedures
  • In possession of a valid driver's license.
