About the role
Join our AWS team as a Data Center Technician to maintain global cloud infrastructure, perform hardware/network repairs, installations, and incident response in a 24/7 data center environment with travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, and respond to operational incidents; escalate as needed
- Serve as primary contact point for internal/external stakeholders (engineers, software developers, vendors, contractors)
- Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities
- Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues
- Help train and onboard new team members
Qualifications
- 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
