About the role

AI Security Engineer to secure AI applications at Amazon by reviewing code, building security frameworks, conducting security research, and partnering with software development teams to embed security into AI products.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain threat models for a wide variety of software projects
  • Perform manual and automated code review, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript
  • Develop AI security automation tools
  • Perform AI security training and outreach for internal development teams
  • Provide AI security architecture and design guidance
  • Independently solve AI security problems that require novel methods or approaches
  • Influence your team's and partners' process, priorities, and choices to improve outcomes

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of any combination of: threat modeling experience, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security experience
  • Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 3+ years of IT Security experience
  • Knowledge of industry-based security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
