About the role

Experienced UX Designer at IT For Me studio within OTS ACES, focusing on applying and evolving a unified design system across video, motion graphics, interactive 3D, and knowledge content. Owns high-frequency design work, collaborates with senior designers, and uses user data to drive iterative improvements in a fast-paced studio environment in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the design system consistently across every deliverable (lower thirds, titles, intros, thumbnails, article layouts, and graphics) to ensure a coherent experience across mediums
  • Partner with senior designers and technical stakeholders to take briefs from intake to delivery, articulate design reasoning, and maintain SIM tickets and worklogs
  • Gather and interpret design feedback and usage data (article view/deflection metrics, A/B comparisons, user/stakeholder feedback) and use insights to refine work for next iterations
  • Build supporting motion and graphic assets in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and contribute to interactive 3D hardware guides; grow into more advanced motion and 3D work
  • Own studio equipment and inventory (cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, accessories); manage readiness and flag repairs or purchasing needs
  • Produce and edit the studio’s steady-state video content (interviews, leadership/PR announcements) using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of design experience
  • Online portfolio or samples demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design solutions across desktop and mobile
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and InDesign
