About the role

Safety Technicians monitor sites, carry out risk assessments, and support the implementation of safety measures to keep people safe and well at work across Amazon sites. The role requires night shifts and travel between nearby sites.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out risk assessments and audits.
  • Monitor the site to make sure processes are in line with Amazon's safety procedures.
  • Create and update reports on safety metrics for colleagues to review.
  • Work with colleagues in Operations and across the business on safety-related tasks and offer guidance on processes.
  • Support in putting new safety measures in place.

Qualifications

  • A Health and Safety NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience running metrics reports, analyzing data to identify problems and using data analysis to generate and explain metrics
  • Knowledge of UK Health & Safety Legislation and pertinent regulations
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
